Southern Veterinary Partners is a vet-owned and operated network of 430+ hospitals across the U.S. While we are Southern in name, we have a large and growing footprint, currently in 26 states. Our veterinarian founders started the company 10 years ago with the goal of providing high-quality care and exceptional client experiences. We pride ourselves on keeping the original culture of the hospitals while SVP provides operational support.

Externships are available any time of year, including Winter break! A paid externship within SVP’s Students Program, SVP GO, can give you beneficial, immersive, real-life experience while providing valuable advice, mentorship, and exposure in active clinical environments, under careful guidance of our most experienced DVMs. Participation also makes you eligible for our GO bonus (detailed below).
