With a technology-forward approach and a deep commitment to our people, Modern Animal is building the next generation of general practice veterinary care—one that balances the needs of practitioners just as much as pet owners and their animals. Our veterinarians are equipped with the tools, structure and support they need to practice the highest quality of medicine, without compromising on the boundaries between work and life. We provide care through our small animal general practice clinics in California and Texas, and virtually through the Modern Animal app.
Starting your career at Modern Animal will give you structured, comprehensive exposure to everything general practice during our 3 month onboarding program. You will participate in the highest quality of preventative medicine, urgent care, surgery, and dentistry while experiencing how technology improves every step of the process. Mentorship continues regularly in your home clinic in a collaborative environment under the coaching and direction of your Lead Doctor.
An externship at Modern Animal will give you comprehensive exposure to everything general practice. We offer ~1-4 week externships at our California (Los Angeles and San Francisco) and Texas (Austin and Dallas) locations but keep an eye out as we expand to different locations throughout the U.S.
